Relsys and Galt Announce Argus SafetyTM and dsNavigatorTM Product Integration Initiative
Relsys International, the leading provider of software solutions for adverse event reporting, pharmacovigilance and risk management for the pharmaceutical industry, announced today that it has entered into an agreement with Galt Associates Inc., a leading international provider of risk management solutions. The agreement calls for the integration of Galt's dsNavigatorTM into Argus SafetyTM, Relsys' flagship product.
"The combination of Galt's industry-leading coding and dictionary management capabilities with the adverse event reporting power of Argus Safety offers a truly integrated drug safety solution for pharmaceutical companies," said Dave Bajaj, President and CEO of Relsys. "As the pharmaceutical marketplace becomes more and more global in scope, our partnership with a market leader like Galt provides another benefit for Relsys customers."
Argus Safety 4.1, the company's most recent release, adds new functionality to the industry-leading solution, including built-in integration with E2B EDI submissions, enhanced reporting capabilities for more effective data analysis and management, highly advanced ePSUR support that effectively manages the entire ePSUR lifecycle. With its integrated workflow and graphical monitoring functionality, Argus Safety helps its users move beyond adverse event collection and reporting and into a complete integrated environment for pharmacovigilance and risk management.
Galt's dsNavigator is a proven, widely-adopted web-based solution that offers quick and effective coding of drug and event terms. It provides an easy-to-use, customizable interface for searching, navigating, batch and interactive auto-encoding, as well as dictionary management combined in a single solution. dsNavigator is perfectly suited for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device companies, and CROs, and can be easily integrated within existing safety and clinical database systems. The newest release, dsNavigator 3.1, offers improved coding quality and enhanced workflow not only internally but also across trading partners.
"The ability to leverage dsNavigator's features through Argus Safety gives companies a huge competitive advantage," noted Y. Renee Lewis, President and CEO of Galt. "In addition to providing an unmatched set of drug safety capabilities, the combined solution delivers both of these powerful applications in a very cost-effective manner."
Both companies will be exhibiting at the 41st Annual DIA Conference in Washington DC on June 27th. Relsys will be demonstrating its Argus Safety software in booth 1425, and Galt will be hosting booth 1609.
